The Philosophers Stone, Duir Wood

Ivan Hicks, IVAN HICKSLANDSCAPES LTD., has used our boulders as central focal features in his schemes. “THE PHILOSOPHERS STONE”, in the Duir Wood, part of “The Enchanted Forest” scheme at GROOMBRIDGE PLACE, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, was rated best visitor attraction 1999, 2005 by the South East Touring Board.

In a 100-acre butterfly conservation project for a private lepidopterist and butterfly breeder, Ivan used a 10-tonne menhir granite at the elevated focal point of the scheme.​
